Paula Townsend
Bio: I have been involved in photography since high school but was only able to pursue it infrequently when education and my career demands allowed. In 2016 I retired which finally gave me time to develop my skills and to combine them with my passion for travel and wildlife. I really enjoy learning about the wild places I have been able to visit; I’ve now been to all 7 continents but there is so much more out there to see and learn. I’ve been in Reno for 29 years and greatly enjoy the outdoor recreation opportunities it offers (all types of snow skiing, biking, hiking, sea kayaking). I am also a quilter and am thrilled that I am finally able to finish a few projects.
Favorite Gear: Olympus OM-DE-M1 Mark ii with Olympus M-Zuiko pro lenses: 12-40, 40-150 and 300 mm which gives me the equivalent of 600 mm that I can actually carry.
Types of Photography: Wildlife, Birds, Landscape, and General Travel
